Who doesn’t like surprises? Well I surely do! That’s at least one reason why I do love the trend of the monthly surprise boxes, which one can order. I got now the chance to discover this month’s pocket by Luxembourg’s women magazine Janette, the first of its kind here in the Grand-Duchy.

One can almost say that I am a surprise box addict, as I did subscribe already to different kinds of theses boxes and I just love to offer 3-months subscriptions to my beloved ones. In this way you offer 3 gifts in one, as each month is a new box with new surprises, which gets handed out!

And this month I had the chance to experience the pochette by Janette. I was so excited when I saw the cardboard box addressed to my name. when I came home last Wednesday. With trembling hands, I cut open the box to discover the delicate red tissue paper in which was placed the May edition of the pocket as well as the Janette magazine. And my name was one it! It was really mine!

I sat down in our comfortable Eames chair and opened the string and unwrapped the monthly gift. I directly spotted a practical pocket with a nice girly drawing on it.

After opening the zipper, I removed a lot of surprises, beginning with…

…a little black bag containing a bracelet by Clause Atelier. It is a blue python strap doubled with calf sweet. I will wear this one the next time I will have to dress up and I am already looking forward to that big day!

The next thing I took out was a knitted micro-fiber cleansing cloth, the Magic Mitt by Jane Iredale. This glove quickly and completely removes makeup using only water. Mine is already in use and I am really satisfied with it! Just wondering how long I will be able to use it before won’t work anymore…

The third product in the pocket is sample of after-sun shampoo by René Furterer out of the Solaire range and for sun exposed hair. This one I will keep in my travel kit in order to test it as soon as we will be doing some sea & sun in the summer!

At last, I found the lip-gloss by the French make-up label Attirance d’Ellissance, label I discovered this way. And lucky as I am, I got the right color, which perfectly fits my make-up style! I do use it everyday!!! Oh, and I almost forgot the voucher for the online site of elissance with which I will be able to order my next lip-gloss!

All in all, I am really happy with my pocket full of surprises! The pochette by Janette is actually a wonderful surprise box, not to expensive (starting at 18,5 €/themed pocket) and which CAN be compared to similar products you can get on the net, like for example The Glossy Box or My Little Box.

And it would indeed be a terrific gift for your best friend or, why not, your mother… ‘cause don’t forget: Mothers day will be on 7 of June in Luxembourg…
